We’re looking for a dedicated Assistant Superintendent to join our golf course maintenance team. In this role, you’ll be directly involved in the day-to-day care of the course and surrounding grounds. You’ll work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent on planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance and project work. This position offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to build a strong foundation for a long-term career in turfgrass management.

Key Responsibilities:

       Support daily maintenance of greens, fairways, bunkers, and water features.

       Assist in planning and carrying out maintenance schedules and special projects.

       Learn and apply the agronomic plan to maintain high-quality playing conditions.

       Build strong working relationships with team members and contribute to a positive culture.

       Become familiar with course maps, irrigation systems, and upcoming renovation plans.

 Preferred Qualifications:

       Degree in Turf Management, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field preferred but not required.

       At least 2 years of golf course maintenance experience, ideally with cool season turf.

       Working knowledge of golf, agronomy, and turf care practices.

       Leadership ability and interest in managing a team.

       Hands-on familiarity with course equipment and irrigation systems.

       Strong organizational and communication skills.

       Pesticide Application license preferred, or willingness to obtain with our support.

       A genuine interest in professional growth within turfgrass management.

Salary & Benefits:

       Salary range: $62,500 to $72,500, based on experience.
